would you look at all the dead leaves the summers done
only 6 more months till this snow is gone
should i put fourth more energy
but these interfere with reality

awkward compliments and constructive criticism
wonder why this never works just blame it on my narcissism
lose more sleep over the little, slightly embarrassing things
things we can't redo but only recite while we dream

does everyone think they're better than what they really are
viewing the same landscape from the backseat of your car
focus on my memorization and forget creativity
i don't get satisfaction or really any reaction anymore

cutting all our options low there's no more variety
winter got away and now your breathing so quietly

all i see is apathy can't validate for everything
give up, move on, i can't do anything
no point to try the school years down the drain
as soon as high school hit it all withered all away
now we just take what we can get and hope that its okay
give up, move on, there's no commitment
just do as told and try to fit in
